OnHour is dedicated to children and young people. For a peaceful and good future for all. Today, tomorrow and worldwide.
OnHour – Public Screening for Future puts international negotiations on climate, biodiversity, oceans, sustainability and human rights at the heart of our society. The transfer of democratic processes to prominent, public places strengthens the common sense of responsibility within and between societies.
Mankind is about to step into a peaceful, free and sustainable future. The next 15 months will be decisive for this, especially for the younger generation. At the UN conferences and summits on the future topics of Climate, Biodiversity, Oceans, Sustainability and Human Rights from 23 September 2019 to the end of 2020, key framework conditions will be set for the states. But in many cases the importance of these processes has not reached the public.
The UN negotiations and other important national or regional conferences – embedded in a moderated explanatory programme – will be presented at central public locations in several capitals – e.g. in Berlin at the Brandenburg Gate – by Public Screenings. OnHour – Public Screening for Future invites people to watch the international negotiations together and to discuss them.
